ai71 is a UAE-based research lab building the next generation of practical, grounded AI. The team works hands-on with practitioners in industries where AI adoption is still nascent, shipping tools shaped by real data and real partnerships. Upperquad partnered with ai71 on positioning, verbal identity, and a complete brand system, spanning logomark, color, and type.

A name with a built-in arrow

The number 71 carries the geometry of its own meaning. Its diagonal stroke and rising form make a perfect arrow that points forward and upward, a sign of momentum, growth, and the ambition of an entire region. The logomark reads simultaneously as wordmark, number, and direction: three meanings carried by a single piece of geometry.

A system drawn from nature

The visual language takes inspiration from organic pattern, the way structures in the natural world converge, branch, and flow together. The same logic shapes how ai71 works: models, data, expertise, and partnerships moving in concert toward something greater than the sum of its parts.

The palette balances technical confidence with human warmth: a deep grounded blue, a mineral neutral, and a single accent of energy that gives the system its spark.
