We leaned into what makes ai71 unique — their hands-on approach and ability to collaborate directly with practitioners. This allows them to serve partners in a tangible way and with immediate impact.

In addition to brand strategy and verbal identity, Upperquad collaborated with the ai71 team on a bold color palette, expressive typography and a new approach to their logomark.

We drew inspiration from natural forms and patterns, illustrating the intelligence that we're harnessing to power society forward. Those natural forms serve as a foundation to represent how the components that make up their work — models, data, expertise, relationships — flow together and evolve, converging to create a vibrant, sophisticated world that is more than the sum of its parts.

As an additional element, we introduced the number 71 symbol. Its structure forms a perfect arrow, pointing up toward a better future and representing the growth, energy, and spirit of an entire region.
