Maps are going Google
We worked closely with the Google for Work team to develop a series of articles, all showing how Google Maps could help businesses achieve goals and solve business challenges. Six articles rolled out over a 6 month period in 8 countries, each with immersive illustrations, case studies and artwork.
The stories behind the maps
The Google Maps story had been told in terms of a product and industry, but this initiative was around telling the stories of innovative and amazing uses of the product in business. These stories were released over time, generating interest and presenting topical content that could be used to identity or cultivate sales leads.
Making data points beautiful
The articles contained large amounts of important data, which could have become overwhelming. We were sure to show data points visually and creatively, interspersing them amongst illustrations.
Maps are beautiful
In addition to the online components, we created custom artwork related to the themes of each chapter. These items became a point of interest beyond the stories themselves and helped anchor the print version of the articles.
